Tell me about your establishment

Residence Poli is one of our accommodation options in the Venice area. It was established in 2019 and features six apartments.

During the summer, our clientele is predominantly foreign, with a notable presence of Americans.

In the winter, however, we welcome more Italians (likely due to the low season and affordable rates).

How long have you been using Smartpricing? How did you handle rates before?

We started using this software at the beginning of the last summer season, specifically in June 2022.

Previously, we set rates based on our industry experience and by keeping an eye on our competitors.

We often simply lowered our prices, knowing that someone would book, but we realized we were devaluing the business.

What made you decide to adopt Smartpricing?

My brother recommended it to me, as he's been using it with great success at another establishment.

After the initial weeks of use, we noticed that it was working and we continued to receive bookings, which further convinced us to continue.

What results have you achieved with Smartpricing?

The results are outstanding, both in terms of numbers and time saved.

I occasionally check the platform to see what rates it's suggesting for the coming months, but the rest of the pricing management is automated.

I love the fact that Smartpricing updates prices multiple times a day without us having to do it, allowing us to focus on other tasks in the facility.

I was also surprised to see that guests still booked, even though I thought some of the prices suggested by Smartpricing were too high.
