Context

Hotel Juenmi is idyllically located on the border between East Tyrol and South Tyrol, drawing visitors with the allure of the Dolomites. The property was modernized about six years ago and is positioned as a tranquil retreat for couples and outdoor enthusiasts.

Roughly 60% of guests come from the DACH region, followed by Italy and international travelers. The hotel operates seasonally, from Christmas to Easter and from May through October. Bookings are evenly split between direct (website, repeat guests) and OTAs.

The challenge

Before Smartpricing, pricing was managed manually based on best estimates. This often resulted in rates being too high during low seasons and too low during peak times—a challenge the team was well aware of.
