Tell me about your establishment

The property is situated less than 5 kilometers from the Colosseum, offering nine spacious rooms.

Currently, we receive 90% of our bookings from Booking.com, with the remaining 10% coming from direct channels like phone calls or our website.

Our target audience is primarily families and foreign tourists.

How long have you been using Smartpricing? How were rates handled before that?

I've been using Smartpricing since August 2022.

I used to manage rates manually with a fixed price list and Excel sheets, rarely making substantial price changes.

Time has always been a scarce resource, so I've never invested much in managing rates.

What specific need were you looking to address?

I didn't realize I had a need until I received your call.

From that moment on, I became aware of certain problematic situations that were occurring in my facility. Specifically, these include:

• In the past, due to the limited time available, I struggled to optimize rates when demand was rising, resulting in lost revenue.
• I found myself repeatedly selling at rates that were too low, underestimating the potential of my establishment.

• I was neglecting rate management due to the limited time available.
• I was relying on outdated methods to manage my pricing.

Before using this software, I didn't rely on any management system. I manually recorded all bookings, which often led to errors.

Since Smartpricing requires integration with a management system to publish prices on sales channels, I decided to purchase one that was compatible (Ciaobooking, ed).

Now, my rates are not only optimized, but they're also automatically published on my website and all sales channels where my property is listed!
